Chef Williams makes a triumphant return to Washington, DC at Willowsong, bringing a wealth of experience and accolades to the kitchen. An accomplished chef, he has also appeared on a variety of TV cooking programs, ranging from “Beat Bobby Flay” to “It’s CompliPlated,” which he won in 2022. He has been recognized by foodnetwork.com, The Los Angeles Times, OpenTable, and the James Beard Foundation as a gifted chef and kitchen leader.
Prior to his return to the East Coast, Chef Williams worked at NOÉ Restaurant & Bar, Lillie’s, and Jane Q in Los Angeles; The Social Club in Miami; and Tin Roof Bistro in Manhattan Beach. He also previously cooked at sister property The Williard in the heart of downtown Washington, DC. Chef Williams is a native of nearby Philadelphia, and earned his Culinary Arts degree from Baltimore International College. He credits his grandfather with sparking his love for cooking – and getting him into the kitchen.
